When you submit an answer, it is sent to Anthropic, a company outside the university, so it can generate your feedback. Your answer and the feedback you get back are then stored, so your revision history is there the next time you come back to this question.
How you are identified depends on how you joined. If you entered a class code without signing in, there is no account: you are identified by a random token stored in your browser, not by your name. If you created a student account, it carries the username and email address you chose, and your instructor sees that username beside your work.
Either way, please do not type your name, student number, or other identifying or personal details into an answer itself.
